Oh, I opened the gate today (the area where I heard the growl last night) and there was a big pile of scat there. :( Doesn't look like dog crap either.

send it to Chris. He can tell you what it was :) |
Did you take a picture?
If it is big and black at this time of the year it could have been a bear. |

Hi Wendy. Cucumber works, but if you have fresh aloe I would use that. It works better
I got a little sunburn on my legs the other day when my brother was visiting the keys. We went kayaking on the ocean and that did it. Now I am shedding my skin. I feel like a lizard LOL
Oh well, it is cheaper than having some sort of exfoliation procedure done in Boca Raton (wealthy yuppy town)by some plastic surgeon with a mean looking disposition LOL

Hi Wendy, that's great! Wish him a very Happy Birthday and many happy returns from me and my husband.
No Chris, just a dark brown, medium sized *blob*, I have no interest in investigating it further....lol!
Off to cut the grass now... I really deserve an EL! :/ |

Ruudeeh, that looks like a cold snap to me from where I stand. We're staying in the 89-91F range right now, with lots of wind. It dries everything like a giant hair blower :(
Anita - I don't even remember when I uploaded anything the last time. I just haven't had any time to even look what to submit.
Kelly - Aspirin for the inflammation
http://www.health911.com/sunburn
| Quote: | | Aspirin kills the pain and reduces inflammation and redness of a sunburn. It short-circuits the whole sunburn process. It must be taken within 24 hours of getting sunburned. Aspirin is preferable to ibuprofen or acetaminophen because it is less stressful on the liver and kidneys. |

Yes Barry, just waiting for the call.
Sari my Q is empty too, I have just not had time to do anything.
Thanks Kelly I will do that :-)
Rudy I agree that Aloe is much better. Cucumber is excellent for sore eyes, cut a couple of slices and lay back and just rest it on the eyes. Very soothing. |

They make a type of salt pill for real bad sunburn i should know this because i got burned so bad that when i stopped moving the skin tightened up and it hurt like hell to walk and the same thing when it came to sitting the blisters were bigger then marbles.
And i have caught the Monkey before many years ago. |

I'm deathly allergic to Aspirin Sari, but thanks anyway, it isn't that bad anyway.
Got the back yard cut, boy, the black flies are bad tonight.
The wind has picked up and it's hot, we might be in for a thunderstorm tonight, I won't complain though, we really need rain too. |

Wendy - re: your hubby getting to come home -- Awesome!!! :) I hope you all have a great day!!
I was wondering why the sky is so hazy tonight -- the sun is setting in a thick could of "something":
http://www.newson6.com/story/18615829/new-mexico-wildfire-smoke-seen-in-northeastern-oklahoma
| Quote: | TULSA, Oklahoma -
Smoke from wildfires in southwestern New Mexico has made its way into Oklahoma.
The Whitewater and Baldy wildfire complex in New Mexico is clouding the skies of Oklahoma Thursday.
New Mexico officials say approximately 435 personnel are currently assigned to fighting the fire. Both fires were started by lightning.
News On 6 meteorologist Michael Grogan says the smoke has traveled hundreds of miles to reach Oklahoma thanks to the wind flow higher up in the atmosphere.
The fires are uncontained so they will likely continue to burn for some time.
Grogan says in between breaks in the clouds Thursday you may be able to notice the haze caused by the smoke. |
No kidding :| |

No grizzlies in that part of the world Barry.
Bear poop changes dramatically over the season. Totally depends on what they are eating. Right now it is mostly fresh veg and stuff that died over the winter (around here anyways). Later in the season when they get into the berries their scat looks like jam. |
