Yeah, I wasn't taking any chances, yuck!

We generally buy the omega3 eggs from the grocery store Rudy, but we thought we'd try her free range organic fed chicken's eggs. We have a few other people here we can buy them from.

That was Friday Rudy, I'm still mad, lol.

I resubmitted some of them. There were actually 3 with the "no model release needed" rejection.
Hopefully I'll miss the Thursday/Friday shifts of Attila.

Good. :)

Lobke I lurve my namesake and think that they're extremely cute in the ugly stage :)

Saw something I'd never seen before Saturday morning. A mama quail being followed by 6-8 baby quails. I'd never seen baby quails before. They were so small toddling around about 1/3 of their mama's size. It was just too cute.

I also spent the entire weekend trying to figure out why my colorwork headbands came out 1 1/2 inches smaller around than the ones with 1 color. Which is I'm stranding the yarn too tight but can't seem to find a good tip to keep that from happening. I don't want them too loose coz your fingers will get caught in them. The one tip I did find I tried but it didn't make it any wider just 1/2 an inch taller.

*sigh*

Sucks trying to build up stock to go out next year to craft fairs and whatnot when I can't get some of these things to turn out right.

Hola amigos :)
Rudy, i agree you look smart, but most of all, unfortunately, also very man-like ;(
Goodies to hear ya'll like your alter egos ;)

Wendy, sorry to hear about your father, hope he's 100% better asap! Sounds like you're going through a rough time, first the heart surgery on the bf, now your father. Not nice :(

Eww Kelly, rotten eggs... i avoid all eggs not coming from my chickens, imho supermarket eggs are gross.
Which reminds of this: a chicken farmer near here stopped his business and put up his laying hens for sale. These were the so called 'free roaming'(?) chickens. When we went there to pick up some chickies all 6000 of them were living packed up in a waay too small space and they looked terrible; bald on the sides from being packed together, and their combs were yellow, like they sat in a cellar for their whole life. So sad, and that for 'free roaming' chickens...

Anita, i saw little quails at a friends house once, theyre ubercute! Like little walking bumblebees! :D

"unfortunately also very man like". ROFLMAO. The opinions might be divided about that unfortunately part.

Lobke I do miss you when you're not here. I know you are very busy, but at least try to show up more often.

Oh, Anita, too bad you didn't get some pics!

Hi Lobke. Yep, what a gross mess, I've got it double bagged and in the cab of my truck with the window open, I'm getting rid of it tomorrow!

That is awful...one of my uncles ran a chicken farm when I was little, they were packed in cages as well, I felt sorry for them.

The omega3 eggs from the store are good, but they are pricey.

Edit: The sun came out again, too hot for a walk right now.

We had a thunderstorm roll through so everything was unplugged.

Still trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with my knitting...so far the jury is out.

Nah I only do that for blankets ;) Which one of these days I'll start making once I can buy enough yarn. Gotta get my business going somehow which probably won't happen until next year. I hope it will be a lucrative one too.

Thanks Lobke, it is a bit of a rough time, but could be a lot worse. Dad is still in hospital and will be at least till next Monday now .... sigh.

At least the missing pics are back now ... if someone could find the missing buyers that would be nice lol.

On page 2560 or did they at least show upfront in the newest search like they would (should) have right after approval? Mine are missing too, but newer images are already in the search. I hate that :(

Hope you all are doing okay. Haven't had time to read the forums in a while (and don't have time to do so now either ;)
