I have to put five eggs in to get a small omelette....LOL
The banty eggs are tiny, and some are REALLY tiny...
My unfortunate review took three days... I haven't submitted anything since, it took the wind outa my sails :(
Today is laundry day. Yee Haw. Not. |
I would bet that they taste so much better than eggs you buy in the store... even organic pastured eggs.
I still toy with getting chickens one day so that I can have fresh eggs from healthy well fed birds.

It's the favorite game at the moment. :)
I just got back from running BB out to the high school, hubby wanted to introduce him to his special needs kids. |
That should help them sleep at night... how did the trip go? Your husbands work must be rewarding! |

Barry , my review went through in three days, very early in the morning. Just got a sale for one of them.
Looks like things are getting on track again, hopefully. |
:) I agree lissandra it looks like reviews are starting to flow again, my last two cleared in 2 and 1 days respectively. |
Hi Susan, hope they go back to one day reviews, I'm looking forward to reach 500 images in my port.
I'm $7.98 away to get my first raise, can't wait! |
:) Congratulations on the upcoming raise...
Seems I like to chat more than produce images ;) |

Of course everyone went ga ga over him, pictures were taken too (not by me).
He loves his job, but right now he's burnt out Susan. March break starts Friday and he's looking forward to it. |

It happens Kelly, My mother, father, 2 aunts, 1 uncle and a few cousins were all teachers at one time. They loved it but it can be challenging at times. :) Good thing they have a break in the summer months. |

Hey Keedz...
Finally got the laundry done...
Let's see, it's Wednesday... no use trying to submit any pics coz they'd come out on weekend...
I guess I have to figure out something else to entertain myself ;) |

65% of my last 40 pics have sold, and many have sold several times.
That's why the last rejection kicked me in the chin so hard. |

Hello darlin's :) Things moved fast here in the thread; i've been a bit busy doing 2 jobs, but at the end of the month its just one left (the fun one ;)).
Susan, what holds you on keeping chickens?! Theyre fun, dont need much care (well,mostly... right now i'm dipping the feet of mine in oil every night because they have 'chalkfeet', and im worried about one because it sneezes so i'll be feeding them garlicwater too :/), they're excellent in eating waste and composting, give fresh eggs; go for it! There's little to no downsides apart from needing the space...
Cant wait until mine get ready to start brooding! :D
Dang on that last batch of you Sari; we've all been there one time or another... it feels like a punch in the stomac when the pics you had expectations for come back with totally unreasonable rejection reasons :(( Darned atilla...
Does anyone else notice the single image packs taking off a bit..?
Edit: oh susan, i forgot, is it because of the darned spraying neighbours..? :( |

Hey Lobke! :)
Have you had any interesting animals to take care of?
I'm really really envious of your job!!!! I wish there was a place like that nearby here, I'd volunteer...LOL
SODs picking up?? Nope, it's been two months since my last one :(
This week seems SLOoooOoooOW overall, too.... I guess I got spoiled last week :O |

Lobke, forgive my ignorance but I can't remember what your new job is.
Going to be working on my Zazzle store today and tomorrow and try to get that caught up with not working on it since last July. Taking this week off from stock so I can start my new schedule I made for myself next week. I'm hoping I can follow it and it'll probably change once I figure out how I'm going to sell my images on my own site. |

Ahoi Sari! They told me its very quiet for now, but as soon as its april we'll normally get a big *BOOM* of animals! Right now we have nests of little squirrels (from pink and naked to almost ready to go), boring pigeons, little hares, a couple of escaped parrots, herrons (they barf when we pass ;)), hedgehogs, some small birds and some predator birds. I love the little squirrels, they're so greedy(?)and make cute sounds when we bottlefeed them. Last week they brought in a black kite which is pretty rare for these parts. Poor sucka was poisoned, (i learnt you have to make them vomit the poisonous meat out), after some active coal he's alot better now! :D We've lost one little squirrel and one of the little hares though...
I'm still so happy i got the job too! The animals are only part of it, but i dont mind coordinating and looking for volunteers and funds because the cause is so nice. I'll probably keep on yapping about it here forever ;P We're short on volunteers, so come on over! :))
Anita, no worries! I think you got by now its working in a center that rescues wild fauna ;)
Hmm..i guess im on a lucky streak for those SODs, i had one today, yesterday, and on the 3th... |
