My daughter studied Pangea yesterday. They're going over plate tectonics in science.

I think I'm gonna start making Halloween 3d images. Couldn't pay me enough (or force me) to us illustrator right now. I just hope I can motivate myself to get it done.

Rudy----Pangaea???!!! Just how OLD are you, my friend???!!! LOL

Apparently not as old as you LOL. That has been my location for several months now and you just noticed? Hmmmm....... LOL

Besides, it's still the same continent more or less. It just drifted apart a little.

LOL----OK, so I guess my glasses aren't of sufficient power anymore. But that can happen at young ages too, right??

I guess the Appalachians are still the same as back then, waaayyyy back then. ;-)

Boy, did I hear a lot about plate tectonics growing up with Dad a geology professor!!

Just think of the potential money, Anita. Ya never know which image will be the "one!"

*kicks forum*

Why is it they mess with stuff on the main site and it screws up stuff over here?

I think about it all the time but man just kicking myself in the butt doesn't seem to be working anymore.

OK, Anita - if you kick me in the butt I'll kick you in the butt - we both get the benefit... how's that?

I think I'll go feed the ponies et al early and then dig up some pics and see if I can muster up enough will power to get some edited and submitted. If not, I'll just ZZZZzzzzzz away...LOL

We'd have to do the kicking separate coz we can't kick each other in the rear at the same time :p

I'm just wondering if I have enough skills to do some of this stuff on my little (and growing list). At least I know I can rig the camera to shoot straight down on it...no tripod required LOL

Have you guys noticed that the buttons keep disappearing and the text links are blue instead of green?

Funny the text is green again when I am in the post window.

I've seen that too Susan. It's like the board loses or forgets the link to the style sheet.

I think I have a permanent heal mark on my back end from me kicking my own arse.

I saw that too Susan. Every time they make changes, the bugs get worse.

Good lawd, it's hot in here. I put a fire on earlier because of the rain, but now it's warmed up outside.

Darn it.
Got two more new chickies, another black one and a light gray striped one, very pretty. The problem is one of the hens has pecked the heyull out of the pretty one and the back of its head is just a bloody mess.
So, should I try to save it or let it go?

:(
:(
:(

I separated the two hens so one has the babies that are running around and the other is still on the rest of the eggs with the newest chick that's still wet. I have the wounded one for now.

Dayum!!!

Sari I have taken care of quite a few love birds that were pecked in the head by cough cough loving companions until they were a bloody mess. Most of the time they recover if the beating is not too severe.

They usually heal up fine if you pop them in a warm box until a scab forms and you can put them back with more docile friends. Separating them like you did is wise. Could be one of the hens got upset by the number of chicks running around.
