yeah I've seen discrepancy with worldclips.tv footage. I'm always abiding by the full
editorial description. maybe it's political. |

After further value, we have noticed that the faces are recognizable and should have a model release.
We have a large amounts of content coming in daily and we are doing our best on the review side. Thanks for posting in the Shutterstock forums. |

And far too picky on "possible" copyright infringement rejections. Too bad other agencies in Japan, Norway, Germany, USA have all accepted them and are making good money on sales that are lost here. Editorial and newsworthy are two completely different meaning. Even IStock Photo accepts photos of Coke, Pepsi, Las Vegas Casinos, movie stars etc etc with no releases. Perfectly legal as editorial use only. How else does CNN, Fox etc use video and photos of logos, people, products during news ... yup editorial examples and not newsworthy.
It's SS loss and I understand it's your rules. With an IPO coming income growth is real important. Giving other agencies an advantage is not a very good thing at this time.
I'll try harder to reduce what ya'll get. SS has done great on building sales ... still losing a lot to competitors. |
