Or.....wait a week and 20 new ones are gonna come.LOL I waited for months and months when I should have just bought and started shooting.Just like stills My friend, It ain't so much the camera at the $1,000 level.

If you want to work with video, I would suggest buying a video camera rather than a DSLR (that's just me - simply because they are geared more towards video).

I have recently bought Panasonic HDC-HS900. It's the hard-disk version of the TM900 and I can say I am quite impressed with it. The main things it features include:

a) Manual controls - focus, shutter speed, iris (although together with gain function)
b) Stereo mic jack for recording sound etc.
c) Image Stabilisation
d) ability to record Full HD (120x1080p)
e) bigger sensor - it actually has three sensors instead of one as in most consumer cameras.

Aye. Too much stuff out there and it makes your head spin. The first image I sold (editorial) was taken with a secondhand Olympus 35SP

Sony range of DSLT's ???
Majority of my footage is made with a Sony A65 (Last 125 photo's also by the way)

Nice gear - I see DPReview gave it a Gold award - but i'm into the Canon system for the foreseeable future. Thanks though.
