Teaching moment, that's a good explanation of what I post. I don't look at the 100% crops or talk about CA or OOF or LCV. I try to pass on knowledge that will help others compose better pictures in general and let others point what improvements need to be made for the microstock business.

Try not to shoot landscapes at noon.
Probability is 99% that you will have problems with light and colors.
There are just a few scenarios in which you will have success when shooting at noon, and this type of landscape is definitely not the one.

when were out doing a Landscape workshop. we shoot till about 9;30 am Max. then It's over. The rest of the day we do macros and scout where to be for the 4PM till sundown show to begin.

The reason your cat crops did not display is they are 639 pixels tall--they need to be 500px maximum. Otherwise we have to click on the download to see the image and we are too hurried/busy/self important/lazy to do that.
