Don't forget, if you can't sleep, go count sheep! Don't you go count all of them, that will take you several years...

Used to be 20, now only 9 per person. We have a whole 4 million people in this country now. :-p

Saw 4 nice Fallow stags (bucks) and dozens of hinds (does) while out hunting in Wanganui, just couldn't get a decent shot of any of them, that is the trouble with trying to hunt for meat and take photographs at the same time, it is either one or the other, and food comes first :-)

Heading up to the Wairarapa this eve for a couple of days hunting for Red Deer (Cervus elaphus), hopefully get some decent images there.



These were taken down near Kiakora a few years ago, and I will be heading down there in a few weeks:-)

Welcome to New Zealand, we are a long way from the rest of the world, but everything we have is close to each other.

You can be snow skiing in the mountains and one hour later be surfing in the sea.

We also have amazing light in New Zealand, which is why making movies has NZ as a popular location. Lord Of The Rings movies being a prime example.
