DT is having their own difficulties too

I often wonder if other sites have just as many bugs as shutterstock but we just don't notice. I really don't pay very much attention to the other sites except to check my numbers once a day. I don't even pay very much attention to which of my images get accepted and which ones don't.

I think most of us pay much more attention to our images on shutterstock so we notice when they go missing and we notice when our numbers are off. I just don't think I would notice problems on other sites unless someone pointed them out.

On DT I didn't have any sales for about 2 weeks. I don't have many sales there with my tiny port, but to have none was weird.

I checked the boards, and, sure enough, they have a bug hindering sales for many contributors. Their admin has posted some updates and reassurances that they are working on the problem. I haven't checked today for the latest status.

Oh thank goodness, that explains a lot. (I hope haha) I didn't have a sale there for 4 or 5 days, but today I did again.

V**r is also having problems. Approved images have not been showing up in portfolios for weeks now but "they are working on it"...I have over 100 missing images not showing in my portfolio...frustrating. Considering how long it takes them to even review images and now this...well you best start loading images for the upcoming Christmas now hoping they will be approved and in your portfolio by then.

I've noticed bad days this month on DT, but also on IS, 2 sales worth 80 cents. yeeeeeeeeeeeeey. :)

usualy it's 30-40 a month... sales, that is.

sigh. but SS is doing quite well... :-)

If sales on DT suddenly stopped, I don't think I'd notice any difference. As Dorothy Parker said, when told that President Coolidge had died, "How can you tell?"

I saw a slowdown everywhere last month, this month is a bit slow too - particularly noticeable here as I was getting used to have some ELs pop up.

I think for me it's just seasonal slowdowns and not uploading enough ... much as it'd be nice to blame the site...
