Hi,
I have a problem in Adobe Illustrator CS5 - if I have clipping mask and one of the clipped object has multiple or screen opacity mode, then the exported EPS 10 file contains raster art (bitmap) - it makes bitmap image from the whole clipping mask object.

Do somebody knows, how to fix it? One of the solution is no to use those opacity modes in clipping mask, but this is not the right answer for me :)

Here is the simplest example of the effect, so you can try to save it into EPS format: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2950432/test3-problem.ai

Thanks for all tips!

Isnt the problem rather that you used radial gradient which is not a perfect circle but an oval shape? I checked your file and tried changing the gradient from oval to circle and it didnt rasterize after saving the file as EPS10.

Ive got used to replace elipse shaped radial gradients with mesh of similar shape.

I checked you file.
This is a common problem with you use transparencies in the radial gradient.
You shouldn't use radial gradient, you should fake it using the blend tool.
a little circle in the center.. and a big all over.. move from a shape to another with the blend... that's how do it. of course the external shape could be set to 100% transparent..
