You can run into focus issues due to depth of field when you shoot the shot in this fashion. Because the boots are not equal distance from the camera the near and far ones may be OOF. To eliminate this you could shoot them from the front so everything is on the same plane of focus.

Yes, there could be copyright issues.

The plain ones will be fine but the ones with the polk a dots might get hit. Do one without for now and do one later once you get in and include the polk a dot one.
