I've submitted a photo of facebook page as editorial, similar to image below, and it was rejected for trademark within hour or two. I thought that's one of the things editorial images are about: having visible logos for non-commercial use. Was I wrong?

True, perhaps the reviewer hit the wrong editorial rejection button saying it was not newsworthy or the caption was not proper. Can't say for sure, some strange rejections starting up again.

Strange. Just resubmit and mention that the reviewer may have thought it was royalty free. You want to make sure because it is editorial and trademark shouldn't be an issue.
It doesn't hurt!
