Hi All
I'm new at this and I need some info. Minimum file size for new contributers is 4mb . Resizing my files to 500 on the long size and 72ppi. My files are coming out to small.
Do I simply go to longer on the side?
Any help is appreciated. |

Yes, minimum size for submission is 4 MP (megapixel), the 72ppi doesn't matter, post it as big as you can (above 4 MP after cropping, if you crop it.)
For posting a pic on the critique forum, it must be no bigger than 500 pixels (longest side.) Then enlarge the full size image on your computer to 100% and select a critical focus area of 500 pixels longest side so we can check it for focus and noise. |

Yes you are confusing MB (Mega Bytes) with MP (Mega Pixels). As Jon said the critique forum is for the reduced size and you would send in the full sized images for your submission. |
