On the bottom Of Mangoart click on Copyright.It says they own all the Images.?? |

Could it be they misunderstand the terms of use for stock photos? They might genuinely think by purchasing a photo, they own copyright.
Its a very bold statement indeed |

Yeah Lauren, I read the copyright statement included on their site and was very happy to learn that they know enough about copyrights to warn people using their printing services that they could not use copyrighted materials but they are happy to do so themselves.
I don't have the time and energy right now (I have been sick) to learn more about "rentals" of our work....does this also violate terms of use?
I also notified SS of this "perceived" violation.
I would love to see 8, 10, or 20 photogs get together when such a site is found and actually combine resources and work together to put an end to such abuses. |

I barely shoot any more (for a lot of reasons) but the thought that an internet customer believes that they are purchasing the total absolute rights to a photographers work for .25-.38 per picture is enough reason to only take the camera out for my own enjoyment. |
