Heres 2 crops of flowers. they have to be this sharp. You can do this. It's about lots of practice and technique.See a difference??

Very good photo. What a pitty it's not much sharper. Just better sharpness/focus and a little bit different framing and it'll be excellent.
As an example of framing distance between the flower and the left edge (up and down also - don't frame up and down so tight) should be 1/3 of distance between the flower and the right edge. Or just crop square (but not too tight) because negative space also have fine symetrical (radial) geometry and it is nice extension of the subject's geometry.

The general advice is no flowers for your first 10 unless they are outstanding
