Images not being searchable with many of the most relevant keywords. This one bugs me the most and it's effecting sales, I'm sure of it.

I had high hopes for this one...not one sale yet.

It's not searchable under bird, wildlife, nature etc and I just noticed now, it's missing from my port! >:/
I searched under "new" for "raven" and yours came up.

Yes, it's under raven but not bird, wildlife, nature and several others.

It should be found under ALL the keywords, that's the point of key wording and sales.
43 pages for Raven so easy to find new.

3449 pages for Bird so hard to find new, how many pages did you look at?

4168 pages for wildlife so hard to find new, how many pages did you look at?

The intent of multiple keywords is for the purchaser to have the ability to narrow their search down to their specific requirements. No one is going to type in “nature” into the search hoping to find raven, or a horsetail weed, or a spider, or a waterfall etc, etc, etc. It is the same as someone typing in “blue” or "black" into the search. That would just be dumb.

Yeah they will you would be surprised.

My number one seller is a sign but most of the sales are from searching for the word pole.

Barry I scanned "nature" for over 400 pages, none of my recent "nature" key worded images are in there as far as I can see. I did see one of Rob's newest though.

Kelly quite some time back Dave said something about the description needing to be done better because the searches would be relying more on the description of the image so i went and looked under sequence and there it is at number 60.

Cool thanks. I really should explore the site someday, I've only been here 6 years or so. :) Told ya, lazy. I barely even edit my images (you can tell) and I don't look at the submit or approval emails. Fire and forget...

Myself and Dave have had Hours Long video chats with the head guys. We brought up all and I mean ALL the issues one by one. They are aware of it, At least thats what they said. They assured me they are On it and I can only assume they mean what they say. And BTW, yes they read the bugs forum and are aware of everything.

My personal grip is they don't respond, They said they would work on it. Hang in there guys.

I remember the good ol' days when new images would sell the same day they were approved and you could actually see them in your portfolio.

Those were good times ...

Maybe they need to hire a better Exterminator?

After a long stretch of many batches of missing images and or images with none searchable keyword etc. I had a month of reprieve... and my new images showed up when they should have and they were finally searchable.

Too bad it did not last, I thought SS was making progress on these bugs.... However my last approved batch is missing again and no where to be found.

Yes, SS is the best selling site, and yes SS is also by far the most unstable site. From all other sites I only experienced one server outage on DT. Other than that nothing across 7 sites. SS is the winner on bugs.

Thats horrible, Damn.At the meeting I brought up everything I could think of, I had a 2 page list I compiled and this was at the top. There were 5 people taking notes all along and we went into depth about certain issues and they said they have a special team they brought in 9 Months ago to address these problems specifically. Not knowing anything about the IT terms and stuff they refereed to it as a infrastructure issue. They were all ears I must say and, very Nice people and seemed very sincere. The meeting was over 2 hours long. I centered mostly on reviewing and the absolute inconsistency going on.Sorry to hear that.Im PMing you about something.
