If you are going to take zoo animals you have to find a position to photograph them that looks natural. You wont get them accepted with the obvious cage in view.

Somehow I have the feeling that this beast knew exactly what you were about to do at that moment....

Yep lighting need to be better on the tortoise.
The horizon is leaning in the farmer shot and it would require a model release for everyone in the image.
And the Sparrow is OOF and comp needs to be better.
Also we really like and require you to post the 100% crops please.

Tortoise will sell if done correctly. I have two giant tortoise images here that have both been #1 most popular for giant tortoise keyword. Both have sold around 100 times.

Just for curiosity, may I ask where you are from ? If it´s not just for the quality of your photos this zoo looks far beyond any standards I know about, and without any offense mate, but this zoo is not even up with an average animal shelter imho.
Also the animals don´t look really "fresh", so I doubt you will get any good photos in there at all even if YOU COULD do it one day.
Use your photos for the better of the animals instead to illustrate their situation and organize something...

Actually, if you are presenting them as animals in a zoo then there is nothing wrong with having that show.
Of course, the photo still needs to be properly focused etc.
I'd rather see someone take a picture of an animal in a zoo and actually have it look like an animal in a zoo than to try to pass it off as "natural"

Based on your reply I'd say that the OPs image does an excellent job of "illustrating the situation" of this animal.
Too bad it looks out of focus.

If we assume I am right, then they definitely would.
But they are still LCV, their value would be out of the MS world, and to put it on a website, FB groups page or on a copied flyer etc the focus is still good enough
