Hello.
Could you help me please with the w7 form? I call the american embassy, but they didn't know how to help me.
I have to fill the w7 form in order to obtain an ITIN number.
An UK citizen has to write: 'exception 1 (d) royalty income' in the space provided, and '12' in the treaty article number.
But, as a portuguese citizen, I just know the treaty article number (13 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-trty/portugal.pdf). What should I write before that? Also "exception 1 (d) royalty income"?
