My husband passed away three weeks ago, on May 7th... He was 40 years old and I'm only 28... He died from a brain aneurysm... It was very sudden and unexpected... I was in shock and denial for about a week, just couldn't grasp the fact that he's gone...

It's very hard for me now... but I'm glad I have this stock hobby. After I finish moving out from our place, back to my parents house for now, I'll start working more with my stock photos and keep uploading and uploading. And reading too, I have tons of photography books that I always wanted to get to, but never had the time... I know that this will help me a lot through all of this... My husband always supported me in this hobby... Every time we went on trips and vacations he would encourage me to take photos, made suggestions, gave me ideas, and inspired me in so many ways... He was very creative! We had so much fun together... I have thousands of unprocessed photos from our trips... which will probably be hard to work on, because almost each one was taken when we were together... He was a wonderful husband... I will miss him a lot...

So this is my story and my reality and I just wanted to share it with you guys, because I love this forum and although I did't participate much, I was always reading it. And I will probably spend much more time on this forum now and my portfolio will be growing rapidly once I settle down in my new place...

I had tears in my eyes reading your sad story. He was way too young to die. I can only imagine your pain. Hang in there, my prayers will be with you.

this is so tragic... take your time going through each and every emotion that comes your way - they are all valid and will help you get to the next level. The pain of your loss will lessen each day... it will be with you forever but so will your wonderful memories.

I am so very sorry to read of your loss. At 65, I have seen my share of this unexpected change and can appreciate your grief. Losing someone is the price that we all pay for love. When you weigh this loss against all the wonderful moments you shared, you'll agree that the price, though steep, was worth the investment. I wish you well as you move forward from this awesome experience.
