HI,

I'm just trying to get a feel for what photos I should try and submit. Any tips, pointers, suggestions, etc., would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Focus is a little soft...would suggest using a good, solid tripod, mirror lock-up, and self-timer or remote release to improve focus.

OK, here is a tip:
Think about how your images can be used to supplement or support a product, service, concept, idea, or process.

For example: Travel images support travel agencies service, I have many such images on many travel sites

Pet images can support dog grooming service, especially if they portray the act of grooming, I have images on 4 books on horse care

Medical images support a variety of services depending on the nature of the image, I have images on massage sites, Plantar Fashitous sites, arthritus sites, etc.

Animals other than pets can be used in books, I have images in books on Pheasants, Turkeys, pigeons, etc.

People obviously can be used to portray services of many kinds, look at Yuri Acurs portfolio, he is the king of this.

Here is an example of a process

Anyway these are but a few of the concepts that you can apply to your images.
