I wonder if this is correct DOF, or is very shallow
food, mini-pizza

As long as the one in front is sharp.

Do you have the crop?

Ok, your focus isn't bad. The front one could be a touch sharper and you have come a long way as far as styling the food.

The thing I am noticing in this shot is your colors seem to be washed out some. I don't know if this is due to the items you are using or your lighting. I have a feeling it is a combination of both.

For example look at your olive. It is more lime green than a nice deep green for that type of olive. Also your tomato is not a nice deep juicy red. Also look at the pimento. It is washed out as well.

As I have said so many times the buying of the right ingredients is so very important.

Also I know why you put the bowl of tomatoes, cheese and chives in the shot but I hope you took some with just the mini pizzas. Not everyone wants a shot that shows the ingredients of what is in the food.

You are making progress. I just wish I could get you in person for about 2 hours to show how you can correct things like this and improve your food photography.

thank you very much for your advice and comments, really are very important to me, gave me the opportunity to learn a bit of two things I enjoy, cook and take pictures,
before reading his criticisms I have always a beat in my heart, because I have not really done well and I've done wrong,
with relation to the wash of colors do not think that in this case is the quality of the ingredients, I think it is due to the management of lighting, I have to keep learning from this,
It would be an honor to receive some lessons from you personally at some point I hope that happens.

Not bad - liking the shallow dof. I just find the white area (what ever it is) on the right distracting.
