criticism please
I would like to know how to improve this type of shooting and the use of complementary colors
These shots may have commercial value?

Focus seems to be OK, could use a little more pop, and cropping a little of the OOF towel in the very front would make it better,
Composition is good, everything works together the loofa sponge, bath crystals and towel, good concept

I would also compose the shot differently. Too much dead foreground and towel. This is what I mean when I talk about "the shot within the shot." Always look for those other shots found within the overall shot. I also blurred out the background a touch.

I didnt want to say anything but the towel keeps bugging me. I think the towel looks a bit old and used. I think you need to get a good new towel for a shot like this.

This is your competition

And this is a similar shot, from the Queen of stock.

you have plenty of reason makes the shot with a new towel.
I understand more each day this business is about selling fantasies, the first image is my well made, but does not represent reality, because no one wants to use a wet towel

Your Image is "Pretty Good" But just needs More. More care in styling.Agree about the towel. Kinda drab.I disagree with Ron. 2 of those are way overdone with Photoshop. Something very simple and elegant like this and the middle one posted can do very well. in the long run for sales.Competition is one thing But doing Images that "You" can do is another.

you just need more pop. This one is better IMHO, but yet I believe it could be better with better lighting.

The buyers dont disagree with me, those were on the fist pages of the popular search result for bath salt.

The one from Sandra was just another example on what is out there

When it comes to the props you use make sure that they fit what you are trying to show. For example if you want to show the luxury of a spa or a bathroom make sure the props you use show off that luxury.

Look at the towels you have used. They look thin and not luxurious, almost like a kitchen towel. They just do not fit into the theme or style of the shot. But, if you had the nice thick towels that look soft and comforting then you have matched the props with the style or theme of the shot.

Remember what I always say and that is to make sure the items in the shot belong in the shot. If something doesn't fit don't put it in just for the sake of putting it in.

Here is what I mean. This is a shot that I did. Look at the difference between the towels in this shot and the ones in yours? Which look more luxurious? This comes down to the feel and styling of the shot. Just like in food work, use the right items and style them in a way that shows off what you are trying to show. Just do not put something in the shot for the sake of putting something there.

Go and buy some new towels, do your shots and then return it to the store.....no expensive at all. Takes ontytime to do....
And don't forget to light it correctly!

thank you very much for the idea of buying and then returning to the store, but in my country after buying items such stores do not accept returns, I have to analyze is whether the investment will return.
