I am wondering what you think the chances are of these 10 images being selected are? I am still waiting for selection as a Shutterstock contributor. Feedback would be very much appreciated.

They dont need walls. I submitted one for fun a few weeks back and it was rejected for over abundance.
You need more diversity.

Yeah they don't need any backgrounds like brick walls or rock walls unless they are unique and stand out from the rest.
And you need to be able to show your skills by shooting some diversity.

Oh dear... back to the drawing board.
I am primarily a landscape photographer and wanted to start taking stock images too. So the first 10 shots submitted to shutterstock should show my ability to take a range of photograph genres rather than 10 that might 'fit' together nicely?

There are plenty of stock photographers who mostly do landscapes. How about posting one of your landscapes.

The windmill could work it needs the foreground grass removed from the frame and you nailed the grey sky and clouds.
The other is kinda arty.
And the last one even though someone may say the horizon is leaning i actually think it is a slight hill?
But can we see the 100% crops to check noise and focus?3
Some may be OOF.

I have a version without the grass (I think).
Second one 'arty' meaning wouldn't work?
Third one is definitely a slight hill and I intended the image to show it that way.
You could check focus but I can't upload right now- I'll try tomorrow... I checked on liveview during composition and obviously vetted for focus during pp. They are all taken on tripod @ f16 or above with shutter release cable attached and have been printed and sold as prints- they are fine.
It's my stock eye I need the help with (your advice has been very useful so far). Thank you.

SS is anal about focus so just cause it sold as prints doesn't mean anything.
These images here can and will be used on billboards at times that are huge so focus is critical.

All three of the last shots will work as stock IF the technical requirements of stock are met (sharp, focus where it's needed, no noise, no CA, etc.) I actually like the reeds/grasses in the foreground of the windmill shot, but they'll only work for stock if they are in focus along with the rest of the image. Not so important for "art" shots.
Just keep one thing in mind when considering stock images. They are rarely used alone. More often they will be used in combination with other things (pictures, art work, text, etc.) to enhance the message of some product or service. That's why you often see us harping about copy space in an image. So try to visualize where and how an image can be used in a commercial setting to achieve the buyer's aim.

The windmill and trees are your best shot at first 10. No Brick Walls or the other stuff. to simple and overdone 7 years ago also no B&W for first 10. Lets see crops of those 2/ The subjects must be tack sharp. If so. You Have 8 more to go. You have to be unique in this Business.Pics That anyone can do just won't work.
