Not a bad try but you can see in the crop that it's not sharp

Yes I realised that. I still have to perfect it with the sharpness. I was seeking comments for compo, commercial value etc

No commercial value. It would be rejected for trademark just for the simple fact that a car is the main subject.

It's also easier to nail a pan when the subject is parallel to you.

Yes, they are not accepted vehicles any longer unless they are editorial. Not sure what the thing on the top of the car is and what is written on the door but those could be problematic as well if it is some kind of advertisement.

Here is one I did at the Indy 500. I nailed the car over 100 MPH. Basically you need to anticpate the speed, but if they come towards you its hard to nail it. You need to be along side and then move with the speed of the car.

Well they are both going to be rejected those are "Fords" and SS doesn't take Cars unless they are "Editorial".

Aside from the trademark issues, the composition is OK, but the panning technique needs work. If the background is blurred from the panning, then the car, or at least a key portion of it, needs to be sharp. Or vice versa. It takes a lot of practice to get it right. Might be better to try it with a bicyclist who will sign a model release (and be sure to clone out any bicylcle logos).

I was hoping to use it for editorial use.

I don't think they would get accepted as editorial. There's nothing unique about it. It's not a landmark or spot news. It's two cabs going down the road. There's no story.
