I seldom submit vector file, just once in a while, I need to know is EPS file and the preview jpeg must have a same look?
I saw some of the work here they have done some background to make a book cover look nicer in preview jpeg, but I think by right this background shouldn't include in the vector file, as a buyer wouldn't need background when design their book cover.
So my question is can we just add background in the preview jpeg but not in the EPS?
one of the example from Redshinestudio

What makes you think that background doesn't show up in the vector file? I know if I bought that as a vector, and the background wasn't in it, I would feel cheated.
The preview needs to look like the vector. |

I never think they didn't include background in vector, I just thought of user point of view, buyer may not need the background design, but you got point too darla, so I better include background design in vector file.
thanks ya. |

I think the only thing that would be different is you might not include the sample text in the raster file (because text is harder to remove in raster format.) |
