Sorry if this has already been explained somewhere, I have done a search but to no avail.

I got accepted on Friday but my 9 accepted images are nowhere to be seen. The batch is in me approved photos section but not on my port.

Does it usually take a couple of days or did I do something wrong?

Cheers.

Normally, you should be able to see your pictures when selecting "Sort by New", but I don't see them either.

The batch of mine that was approved last Friday is also not showing - I guess we have another case of "disappearing images".

What should I do to try and get them back/locate them?

Is there anything or will they appear in their own time?

It can take up to 72 hours for the images to be viewable but it usually is much quicker than that. As mentioned there has been a bug where newly accepted images are not appearing and takes more time for them to be seen. They usually come back on their own.

On your main sign in page do you see anything in the section marked "Active Images" in the Content Overview area (on the right side)? This should give you a number of how many images you have in your gallery at the moment.

It says 0 active. Which is what confused me. I have some waiting for approval and if I click on them then I can click on another tab for approved images. That's where I can see my first 9. If I click an ID then it brings it up like a normal photo on SS after searching.

I'm very confused!

Don't be confused, not something you did. Just that bug coming back. It has been doing this on and off for many months now. If it doesn't come back by tomorrow then I would write them at submit@shutterstock.com and give them the details including the batch # of the images and your user name.

Can you post some keywords that are not too common from some of your photos, I will see if I can find them using search to see if they are up for sales to the general public

Errm,
British blue, sunbathing cat, yellow eyes, attention grabbing.

Probably the least generic one (played it safe for first ten) with the most unique set of keyword when put together.

Thanks

72 hours is SS advise. So when 3 days have passed write to the email Dave provided.
