Just wondering if anyone is experiencing longer than usual wait times to get images approved. I am a long time member and have images waiting going on 8 days now which has never happened before. Just curious if there is a big backlog or something.

It's pretty normal nowadays and after approval you need to wait a few days before they showup in your gallery and searches. Reviewtimes arnt anywhere near what they say it is in their mail.
I guess they have a hard time finding enough reviewers or simply dont want to hire more because it costs them money, who knows.

Review times have gone up. My last two batches have taken about 5 days. There have been some bugs lately where for some reason submitted images are not getting into the que. They have also said that their review times can take up to ten days now instead of the usual 7. I would give it a few more days and if you have not heard back then I would send an email to them to have it checked out.

thanks for the responses I kinda figured the slower wait times are becoming standard. That's too bad ....I remember back in the day 3 days max was pretty standard.

I have the same problem. To wait it is possible. But how to know, if images didn't get to queue? Photos are sent the 11th. Then are added 12 and 13. If images didn't get to queue, it about all or only from the 11th?

Review times change depending on many factors, number of reviewers, how many are on vacation, how many images have been uploaded etc. I have seen review times range from less than an hour to 10 days. It happens. Shutterstock has said it can take up to ten days to get images approved so you just have to wait that period of time. If it goes past that time then check into it.
Its great to get images reviewed quickly but it will not always be that way.

Yes, I've noticed a similar thing. And also that they are always approved on a Friday or in the weekend, no matter what day I upload.
