I got an e-mail from Shutterstock, that in the next fortnight or so, Dutch citizens will have to provide their VAT number (BTW nummer). But, alas, the link in the email leads to the contributor landing page. Does anyone know where to find the correct page?

cyborgwitch,

I think the caching in your browser may be redirecting you, especially if you have both a contributor and a subscriber account.

My advise:
1. log out of contributor account
2. clear cache & cookies
3. log in to your subscriber account before clicking the link in the email.

You may also want to make sure the two accounts do not have the same usernames, email addresses and/or passwords.

Send us an email if the issue has not been resolved.

Best regards,

Whats up with this VAT number? In the Netherlands You only have a VAT number when you are registered as a business. Is SS restricting contributors and buyers to Dutch businesses only ??????

semmickphoto,

No we are not. The VAT field is optional, not required, and the message only concerns subscriber accounts. If you received this message and have questions about it you are better off contacting our sales support at support@shutterstock.com.
