Hi,
I'm kinda new here. A few days ago I switched from photography to footage (using HDSLR camera) and I was wondering:
Is it better for buyer to get processed file so footage loogs as vibrat and as good as possible (used curves, three way color correctors, chrominance, sharpness, etc..) or is it better to submit original footage with flat picture style and no post process applied?
Based on your sales, what can you recommend? Thanks in advance for any tip and help, really appreciate it guys! |

You'll get both sides of the fence on that question. Some people say buyers want to grade the footage themselves.
Personally, I never upload flat footage. Sometimes I even add a color grading to fit the mood.
I think buyers will naturally gravitate to bright colors and if yours is flat and muted they would move to the next one.
Anyway, Just my opinion but it seems to work for us.
