Got rejected for "Editorial Caption--Proper editorial caption format needed".

The text for the editorial caption was "LEEDS, UK - JULY 2012: View of the apartments and offices of Clarence Dock, Leeds, July 24, 2012. A new master plan aims to put the 'spirit and soul' into Clarence Dock is unveiled on 26th July"

Puzzled as to what is exactly wrong with the caption, could do with some advice for the reasons for the rejection.

More like this

LEEDS, UK - JULY 2012: then describe what the event is and what it is about then close with July 24, 2012.

Went back to shutterstock page for creating the perfect editorial caption and it states:

CITY, STATE/COUNTRY – MONTH DAY: Factual description of the image content on [date] in [location]. Qualifying newsworthy second sentence (if necessary).

and now can see they want MONTH DAY and not MONTH YEAR, this seems to have changed recently for editorial and I haven't picked it up.

Thanks for your time

As written its newsworthiness is due to a new masterplan for the area being developed which was featured if you google Clarence Docks Leeds.

Its relevance is that the Royal Armouries has not provided such a magnet for shoppers as hoped and many of the shops which opened in the first year on reduced rents then closed after the year was up. According to a local street cleaner, a font of all knowledge, a new company had taken over the development and had come up with fresh ideas for the building, such as computer start ups and such forth. So the masterplan marks a fresh direction for the area.

This editorial rationale was accepted for other photos from the series ie Image ID: 108667511, though something weird has happened viv-a-vis the quotation marks

I see, bit if a stretch for newsworthiness other than for a very small market in the immediate local, but logical. Good luck with them.
