It is OOF the lighting is harsh and uneven, he is walking out of frame, copyright on jacket and you will need a model release.

That was pretty short and sweet but I agree. Although The shadow doesn't bother me.

Lighting is harsh, but not uneven-in black and white composition is reminiscent of Cartier-Bresson. More of a street shot than Stock.

I like it. The fact he is walking out of the frame does not bother me. Actually, its one of those time where breaking the rule is adding something.

As Kenny said, clearly not for stock.

I don't mind the harsh shadows because they go well with the hard color palette. I do agree about the commercial value and the release point.

CV issues aside I think it was a timing issue, this would have been better

Is that a window or a painting of a window?
I like the picture. Did you do other shots of the boy doing something other than walking by, like running, riding a bicycle, or kicking a soccer ball?

Coul´d you please explain me. Why do you say the boy is walking out of the frame?

When someone is looking into or moving toward the short side of the image (less negative space) that is going out of the frame. In other words they are getting close to the edge of the image.

Walking or looking into the frame is just the opposite. It means they are looking or moving toward the part of the frame that has more negative space or room. Doing it this way gives the image more balance.

I like it, I'd like to see more of your pictures to see if this is indicative of your style. While normally not recommended, I like the boy walking out of the picture in this case. It provokes thought. Maybe not the best for stock - but then it seems no one really knows what will take off. It would make a great book cover.
