since all the great new features came up?
Searching takes now often nearly one minute or more. |

nope, I think there is another problem...
The server feels slower the last few days (had some time outs during uploads) but nothing like you now mentioned.
Still one of the fastest image search sites I have seen so far. But slower than a week ago.
Maybe just a lot of traffic lately?

I've noticed the slowdown since the search by color feature was added. It sometimes take 1/2 min to load the homepage of shutterstock. |

Only when I try to use the "search by color" But im assuming that has somthing to do with the 3000+ pages the search brings up,I might have noticed a bit of an overall slowdown over the past few days but nothing major....Ron |

Ok, here might be the answer to the question...
I just found out that one of the international links in Europe went down. International bandwidth will be quite a bit slower than ussual.
If I browse european sites we are super slow, but my links to the US is fast.
Maybe that is where your problem lies? |

No, I found no bandwith problem.
This Forum is fast, my galery is fast but I agree it seems the search with color is slower. |

I have noticed a slow down over the last two days, probably since the new colour search went up...though I'm not implying that this is necessarily the reason.
Today has been much worse, I haven't even been able to log onto the site, and the galleries simply don't show up, when I finally able to reach Shutterstock. I've tried from two different computers on two seperate and unrelated high speed connections, so I don't know what's up.
Hopefully it gets resolved soon. |

I just had a massive slowdown about half an hour ago. Things seem to be slowly speeding up again, but when I tried to access the main site (the forum seems regular speed) it took about 10 minutes to open a page. I'm currently on a 100.0Mbps connection so I usually don't notice any small slowdowns. |

I had been noticing a little lag over the past couple of days, but figured it was just ISP based... kinda used to that... lol
Cheers,
Stuart |
