Moishe
My photos were rejected so I am on a 30 day hold. Are you saying that there is a way to work on the video side or am I locked out until I get those photos accepted? Thanks.

Hi Moishe, I did pm you about thumbnail corrupted preview and I know you could fix it you did a while ago, let meknow what I could do to prevent it in the future. Also it seems that each batch I submit shows in my main stats for a short while and disapear but the clips are under submitted footage with no preview, does that mean that I need to reupload again?

thanks

I am having similar problems. I uploaded 3 video clips and submitted them last week, but they're not showing under my footage stats. It says:

Waiting to be reviewed: 0

Yet when I click the "go" button, they show up and are still pending review. Also, my account is still in review mode. Should it be? Do I need to anything or is this a bug?

bjs I am having the same problem as you.
I have uploaded 7 footage (DV Avi in Pal format) and they only show when I click on the "Go" button.
My account is not in review mode, so that is not the problem
For a test I uploaded 1 footage in Mpeg and it is showing up correctly.

Waiting to be reviewed: 1 (but there is 8 there).

I have sent PM to moishe a couple of days ago and currently waiting patiently for a reply. Atleast now I know I am not alone :)

I am also glad to know that I am not the only one experiencing this problem. Just to let you know, all of the clips I uploaded are MPEGs, none of them are showing up in my stats. I sent a PM to moishe and a message to the help center, but I might try to upload again if I don't hear anything from them in a few days.

Still having problem with the 7 hidden files just sitting behind the "Go" button of the "Waiting to be reviewed".
The weird part was the 1 footage in Mpeg format was reviewed and accepted.
Obvious the reviewer can not see the other files unless they register in the "Waiting to be reviewed" ?????????
Still no reply from moishe, hopefully he can work it out.

PM Moishe, he'll have it fixed. I have had the problem on occasion, not a big deal.

You're welcome, we're here to help each other out. Keep in mind, the folks running the footage site are working hard at taking it from a Beta site to a full blown site, that takes time and plenty of planning. If we want to help them out and make this site a success we have to help ourselves.

Well, I received a reply from the help center:

Hi,
There was some difficulty in processing your clips. What format did you upload?

- I told them my clips were MPEGs in high definition, but they haven't responded. I guess I'll upload them again and see if I still have problems.

At least you got a reply.
My 7 DV files are still playing hide and seek behind the "Go" button.

I think I figured out the problem, here. I've compressed my files to quicktime movies and now they're showing up with no problems. As a matter of fact, I submitted a clip yesterday and it was reviewed within 4 hours. Very impressive!

So, apparently Shutterstock cannot process all types of video. What I used to compress mine was quicktime jpeg-a, I hope this helps.
