Every so often I will back out of the forums and when I do all messages are marked as read. I do not hit the mark all as read, this seems to happen by itself.

Any ideas

Thanks!

Ive done the same and it sucks when it happens,I think it has somthing to do with closing a window at a certain stage of activity, its hard to explain but yes it has happened to me several times. If you use the same system(the one that works)to browse the forums you shouldnt have a problem though........Ron

Don't know if this is the case but when you leave the forums even for an instant and then come back, they're not new any more.

The problem is not at the ShutterStock server, the problem is in your computer.

It could be you have your settings for Internet Explorer to "Block First & Third-party Cookies" because you set your privacy too high. Either lower your privacy settings for all sites or I recomend leave the general settings as is and add an exception as explained below.

In Windows XP, Internet Explorer hit: Properties/Privacy Tab/Sites/Addd
Add the following:
http://submit.shutterstock.com
http://shutterstock.com/
Hit OK, OK.

Other browsers are similar, just search in help for things related to privacy & cookies.

Also check your firewall settings to treat ShutterStock as a trusted site.
Sam.
