There is what I call...
"The Reseller should not invite the purchaser and the seller to eat at the same table".
Now if Jon could place a good efective wall in the middle of that table... maybe.... You don't want buyers placing their personal e-mails and bypassing and cheating the profits out of the middlemen. Jon won't have money then to pay the tab & tip. Sam. |

this should be forum based and to my knowledge there is no way one can know the email address of the other through the forum, all other RF sites I'm on has this feature.
I know a particular designer, who is on the other 3 sites but not here, and always has specific requests which are difficult to find on stock, maybe we can lure him to here...... |

'Targetted' stock opens up a whole new can of worms, but an 'anonymous' suggestion box for what designers are looking for, that lets them know by email when images matching their suggestion/request has been added to the site, would certainly give us the kind of thing that many see as a potential benefit to both designers and photographers, without the issues of contact between the two...

Yeah, It'd have to be annonymous.
This suggestion comes up quite a bit. I think that either Jon and the team are working on it (And hence haven't said anything)...
Or the designers haven't requested it.
Either way, so far it's another great shutterstock mystery as to if it'll happen!
Ooooooh Maybe it's in secret Beta and we don't know about it! *grins* |

Maybe something like google questions
A designer puts money on the table for an image, we rush out ot take it, upload it, they pick which one they like, SS gets a cut |
