Awesome!!!
That's my goal. Make a living with only microstock!
Sleep late every day, no annoying boss, no whining customers, no deadlines, only shoot what you like, and take a day off or vacation whenever you want!

Yeeehaaa!!!

WOW!
This is completely beyond my wild imagination!
Congratulations!

P.S.
May I ask how long it took you to reach this point? And any tips for the newbies along the path? Thx.

All I can say is "Wow." The other day, Laurin had me look at the very beginning of your portfolio to see how far you've come, and I was amazed. Very inspirational indeed!

Tell him to stop that. Please... :)

Cecilie (my girlfriend) is hired by me as a full-time assistant and takes care of all marketing including getting new models, arranging castings, advertising for locations, hiring Photoshop assistants and so. I am the official photographer of Model Booking Denmark and also provide pictures for “elite” in Copenhagen (where you will find models as Claudia Schiffer) – This helps a lot! Cecilie gets around 5-10 emails from hopeful new models every week, and from these we choose only a few for casting.
When I need models that are a little hard to get a hold on, such as older ones, I hire them from agencies. I have special arrangements with the model agencies I work with and can use the model for a low fee.
Getting good models is a piece of cake compared to getting new and good locations. I spent over £2000 back in 2007 feb. for a location scout to drive around in Denmark to find good locations. I got two locations out of this….doh. Getting good locations is SOOOOO hard and takes so much time.

The casino shoot was VERY expencive. We closed down the hole thing for a day... Not cheap. We also flew a model in from copenhagen and we had to pay for his girlfriend to come along before he accepted.

Over $300 per day in earnings? I'm dumbfounded. I whistle happy tunes and have perma-grin all day just for getting double digits in a day. A person could actually think about earning a living off stock at $300+ per day. It's nice to see success stories and have targets to shoot for.

Truly an inspiration! For those of us who share your love for photography you have shown that love alone is not enough. Nothing takes the place of action when it comes to seeking success. And from your example I can see that I need less love and more action!

Congrats!

and

Thanks for sharing this. Your success and gallery has finally convinced my wife (an extremely jealous type) to let me work with models and let me pursue this seriously...
