I think that you are the best in microstock sites. You are the number one for me and for everyone here. I wolud like to have your ideas, your portfolio. I will be working on this. Exist someone who is better ? I think NO. What is your dream in the next five years in microstock ? What is your earnings per photo (total eranings/number of your photos on SS ? ). How much time did you spend for making photos ? /per week . how much people work in your team. which microstock and stock sites did you use ? What can I do be better and better as stock photographer ?. Tahnks for your answer and many greetings form czech republic your "fan". My best day was 89 DWL/per day. and make over 1000 downloads take me 1 month.

My new trainees are about finished to clean and edit files, so the next few years I think my biggest concern is SPEED! I would like to produce something like 300 files per month, but always end up producing 150-200 per month. This was a very big problem for me so I hired people that I could train to do basic photoshopping for me. The problem with this solution was that it toke a lot longer than expected to get acceptable results out of these people and they worked at a way to slow pace to make it affordable for me to have them. The next problem was that these people learned so much from being with me, that within a few months they became attractive candidates for other jobs out there, and I had a lot of people quit because they (with their new skills) where offered better jobs elsewhere. I have just gone through half a year like this, and it has been just HELL!

My final solution was to hire my girlfriend who is a psychologist, to screen and profile people before they got hired. We then went through another round of applicants and I totally followed the directions given by her. The results have been astonishing! Not one person that she has hired is a failure, and the most interesting thing is, that she hired people not on the basis of their skills in photoshop, but exclusively on the basis of personality traits and characteristics she thought where fitting for the job. At the job interview she asked some really strange questions it was actually really fun – for me…

Fascinating, makes you wonder how you got screened and profiled by your girlfriend? Also, in my experience, it is not the most qualified and capable students that become the most productive employees. With the hard work you're building an impressive story.

Have you ever considered taking up another stock theme?

I don't exactly appreciate that, and was hoping that people would not just start duplicating my pictures. Thanks for not copycatting my pictures exactly! You cannot find the pictures you have made in my portfolio, so no worries. :)

I believe I am one of the more diverse stockers out there: Business, couples, love, casino-shoots, old people, young people, teenagers, children, families, hotel-shoots, macro, landscapes, panorama, portraits, interior, groups, students, fashion, animals, military, motion-blur, frames, illustrations, backgrounds, beaches, wedding, laboratory and biology, medical, urban trendy people, health-care and fitness, gym-pictures, isolations, Christmas, item and product close-ups…etc.
Diversity and quality is the key to my success. What themes are you thinking of... Inspire me. :) I would love that.

Please don't take this the wrong way...but... I find this a curious comment, as a lot of your work is very similar to Lise Gagne (someone else I admire very much) over on another site...
Don't get me wrong, your portfolio is superb & you have obviously worked extremely hard to get where you are right now.
However...
Goldfish in bowls jumping into & out of laptops?

Maybe it's just me...

If you try to look at some of the dates of the pictures you have in mind, you will notice that it is often the other way around. Fish leap pictures are a lot older than microstock. I would rather have you say that they look like some G….. pictures because this is where we both got the inspiration for this motive.

Regarding the fish out of laptop pictures. Please look at the dates, and you will see that I got this picture approved five month ago, and her pictures of the exact same motive was accepted about a month or so ago. Off cause such cases irritates me a little, but I try not to worry so much about it. If she is able to do the picture better then I … so be it.

From an artist's point of view, being copied is a huge compliment - and the most honest you can get. From a business man's perspective things are a little different though...

By the way... you wouldn't by any chance be willing to teach classes...? ;-)
