It's 10 months since I was accepted, and my numbers are:

184, 124, 114, 112, 102, 91, 89, 84, 81, 73, 72, 72, 70, 69, 66, 63, 63, 62, 61, 60.

Only 15 to go to have top 20 over 100... It's all a learning experience, and a lot of fun in the process.

Still trying to get my top 20 all in double digits! #1 has 43 down to 10 for #15. 16-20 have 9 and 8 dls. Am working on some new uploads to bypass the slow ones!

the posts of people getting hundreds of downloads per day to make us feel like lumps on a log, let's start a thread for us underachievers. There are those at SS who look at us as waisting our/SS's time with our amateur photography. Maybe i can start a post "why do we amateurs stick around". i know many probably do get fed up and leave, but some like you and I still get a thrill when ANYONE finds our needles in a haystack. but you DO get better at is (albeit a bit at a time). i just uploaded my tennis shot.. it has gotten 12 downloads in 10 days. That's, i'm embarrased to say, is a HUGE success for me, but it does show that i am learning a bit of the trade by osmosis.. but i am sure that my 'photography for my aunt Zelda's Dining Room Wall' career will always outshine my stock photography.
keep shooting (and try other agencies.. sometimes a shot does better elsewhere).

Quite a spread for me in the top 20. I have been around since about Jan of this year, and here is what my downloads look like:

90,28,23,23,21,20,20,19,19,18,17,16,16,15,15,15,15,15,14,14.

It is a wide variety of things. I am still trying to get an idea of what sells and what doesn't. I haven't found that magic place yet. Some vectors, some portraits, some butterflies, some textures. Not sure yet what to concentrate on. I will find my sweet stop, I am sure.

It's been a while...

After 14 months:

225,198,190,148,144,143,142,140,132,130,129,128,127,124,117,116,115,110,109,108

I guess I'm on the 20x100 ;-)

Cheers,

Celebrating a milestone here... I just got my first '100 dl's' picture today!! :) It took a month for it to get there.

The rest of my photos have sold nowhere near as many times.. my next best seller is at 29, then 27..then down to single digits, including a few with only 1 dl so far. I need to come up with more 'winners'!

How do you know your picture sold 100 times? Were does it show that statistic per picture?

go to your main page that shows up after you log in. It has you most recent uploads, more recent downloads, images pending, etc. Scroll down to "Check your Stats" in the center of the page. Then click on "Download Stats". This will show you each day of the month and how many downloads you have had and how much money you have earned. Click on the tab that says "By Subscription Downloads". This page shows your images that have been downloaded and how many times it has been downloaded and how much money it has earned you. This is sorted with the most downloaded image first, least downloaded last. Each page has 20 images. The first page has your 20 most downloaded images.

If you spend some time clicking on the links on your main page, you can find all sorts or interesting information.

Nice tennis shot! Congratulations on the 12 dls!!!! A month or so ago, I uploaded a photo that sold 15 times in 3 days. What a thrill that was!!! Five more of those and I'd have my top 20 all in double digits. ;-) Like you, I continue to be pleased with each and every sale knowing that my level of photography and my portfolio are nowhere near that of most people here on SS. I do submit to other sites and have seen some photos do better elsewhere. However, none of the sites come anywhere near the volume of sales that I have here on SS. Hopefully SS will continue to accept my submissions and I will continue to meet the goals I set for myself. We each have different priorities and different amounts of time we can devote to stock photography. I'm doing all I can right now and love having this venue for my photography.

Thank you mrslevite,

Had not seen that yet... to busy shooting pictures and uploading :-) It is nice to see how the individual pictures are doing.
