You may want to tell the rest of us where you're staying, meeting and so on. Some people might want to come but can't register this early. |

So guys, I have mailed you yesterday with the choice we have hotel-wise:
we have a
47€/twin or dbl-room in a **-hotel in central lisbon, Name: VIP Saldanha
or
68€/ twin or dbl-room in a ***-hotel also in the city center, Name: VIP Berna
Francisco and Carlos were so kind to check the ** hotel, and as excpected, no luxuries, small and cheap hotel:
a bed and breakfast for everyone
Now the question is, are you guys satisfied with that (With the spirit: "we are going there to have fun, not for a thalassotherapy")
Or are you willing to spend additional 20€/night for maybe a hotel that is a bit more modern (While still in the cheap hotel range, we can't expect massage service in a suite)
So sorry to rush you, but we expect to hear a preference very soon, possibly today so we can still benefit the lower rates, because if we don't the price s will get higher whereas the comfort will not.
Thanks, and post away!

As for the hotel preferences, both alternatives are acceptable, though the cheaper one is preferable, if there are no cockroaches :)
I just got an idea... Do we already have an agenda? What about an exhibition? Look.. an international meeting of stock photographers from many countries, all having plenty of interesting works... Why don't we fix an exhibition? Don't know actually how difficult it is practically, but maybe we should give this thought a chance. |

Hi...
Yep, we're working on an agenda... I have it almost all figured out and will post it to your consideration as soon as everybody comes back and the hotels are booked.
As for the exibition, i don't know, i've never been too much on that side of photography. Nevertheless i know of one place where we could try to expose for free... It's a pro photography shop that has a dedicated exibition room... the only thing is that we would have to make the materials for the exposition (prints and mounts) and that costs money (and that would only be free if we get them to make the prints... I can try and see what we can get and try to set something up for a week or so there...
Nevertheless don't forget that we'll be only 8 or so photographers... but yep, in theory we could select 2 or 3 pics from each one and expose there (the space is not huge, so it's not possible to put a great number of pics...
We'll be discussing this when we discuss the agenda...
