Hi, I need help pronouncing a name. I was thinking someone here might be able to help.

The name is Said Ahmed. I don't think the first name is said, well... said.
Thanks to anyone who might be able to help.

S - aaah (like at the Doctor)- Yid
S aaah yid

Ah (shorter one of the above) gh (like the ch in Loch Ness as said by a scottsman, rasping on the throat) - med
Ah gh med

S aah yid - Ah gh med

If this is not clear, you can PM me for my phone number and I'll say it over the phone for you ... (seriously)

Said is a common name in Mauritius. It is best pronounced as Stuart has proposed "sigh-eed"
