That's the slogan on a commercial currently running on CNN to promote Vietnam's tourism. I steal it :)

Post your photos of Vietnam here, please.

A stilt house of the Dao in Hoang Su Phi district of Ha Giang province, near the border with China. Lots of foreigners take the motobike or bike routes through villages in this region. Amazing color of the terrace rice field during the harvest!

Nice one.

I just came back from Vietnam and have tons of pictures with me, but most of them are the other face of Vietnam: The Poor. I don't think I will submit them here on SS.

"Poverty" is one of my keywords in the list. It's the fact and you do not need to hide it. In Vietnam, we still have a high rate of poverty although it drops down dramatically over the last decades.

This is the house of a young couple in the Central of Vietnam. They just separated from their big family. In mountainous and remote areas, young families are among group of high poverty rate as they do not have sufficient "start-up capital".

Poverty seems to be the norm in South East Asia.

I was there last May. Loved the food and us "crawling" below the ground at Cuchi :D.

Here's when we were at Mekong Delta.

A fish sauce production farm in Phu Quoc Island, very south of Vietnam. When you talk about Vietnam, you should not forget to mention "fish sauce".
