The Mamiya 645AFD-II+ZD 22 Kit doesn't cost that much more then the Canon 1dsIII. Plus its sensor is almost twice as large 48x36mm vs 36x24 for the 1DsIII

The ZD back is only a 14bit sensor that gives 12 bit output...
I'd put the two against each other (no bets though!)
But I think 5fps and 12+ image buffer in 14bit RAW might just beat out what you get in the larger sensor (at 1.5fps)
Put on the leaf 16bit back, and we might have a match! |

Truthfully I totally forgot about the difference in fps second as I work pretty dam slow so 1.5 fps would probable be perfect for me but I can see how for a lot of people it would be pretty darn slow.
