I don't like the logo . I don't like the word. The previous design was much better....

Oh my goodness...the new logo has just taken over my tabs.

IMHO, while I understand that old logo represented photographs and wasn't really associated with illustrations or vectors (but then again the same goes for the word "shutter"), it was iconic: simple, focused, not ambigous and it just sort of clicked in my mind as something that is successful and omnipresent and that has something to do with photography (long before I joined this site as a contributor). I'm really sorry, but the new logo seems just too generic, not conceptual enough, it just does not create an immediate mental image of a company that sells licences for images. If it were for an audio company (since it reminds me of acoustic waves coming to one's ear) IMHO it would fit perfectly, but for here, I don't know. I guess the buyers' mental positioning is most important.

I think I'm beginning to have second thoughts - it does grow on you after a while.

What does SS feel about the new logo is a better question? Why? Customers look at the logo and know what we are. This sets up back to day 1. Don't you guys do any type of psychological analysis before you go and do this?

Any word from SS staff? Give us your feedback.

Here is the old logo for those who don't remember it:

It seems to me the the font had it problems too - r was cut off the same way.

The old logo looks more classy too me, and it makes a stronger statement. The new one is less visible on a page because of white background, and honestly it looks kind of "same old same old..." - while being more modern it's not unique at all. However I kind of like it. It's more dynamic, and more feminine too :)

Well, I've got a feeling I've seen the logo somewhere before. It doesn't really stick out. Looks common. And it doesn't say anything. I think I liked the old one better. That one actually said something. Ofcourse, it could probably need a facelift, but I think the new one lacks something the old one had.
