Well, mine were approved on Saturday, they all start with 19471... and i still can't find them by keywords. Don't know what's going on but it's not fair...

No, that's really not fair..

I already think about deleting them and resubmitting when it's fixed.. But I don't yet know, if this is against the SS rules...
As far as I understand, It's very important for an image to get the downloads from the "newest first" searches to get a certain level of long term popularity...

Well,it happened to me last week that I uploaded a batch of about 20 images, and the same day they were published they went straight to page 20 in the "newest first", 'cause after my batch was approved, somebody else got his batch of a million images approved, and those images had the same main keyword as mine, so my work got lost instantly.

that should tell you what to shoot... ie: no business people shaking hands ...etc...

look at me. i just got some autumn leaves images accepted. they stayed on NEWEST FIRST for

4 seconds ....

now, i'm wondering why, all 5 have been downloaded only 2 times in total ..
(or maybe they're crappy ?..shhh.. keep that to yourself)

OK guys and especially SS ADMINS:

I have the same problem with whole batch of 15 vector files and even some from that batch in rasterized version not showing in newest search... You can see them as newest first (15 vectors and 15 rasterized versions):

http://www.shutterstock.com/gallery.mhtml?id=91706

In this issue there are not showing no one of vector images there.

Images are numbered:
19470955, 19470952, 19470949, 19469995, 19469950...

Under my calculation it was 6th or 7th page of new vector files where this my images should be positioned today!

Due to that glitch I am suffering serious loss in downloads and loosing at least $10-$100 a day!

I am stopping any further uploads on SS until see this 'FAVOURISATION OF OTHER AUTHORS WORKS' (automatic or manual - who knows?) problem explained from administration and fixed!

[edits] typing errors fixing under high stress.

well, one of my "lost" vectors has been sold today, only because that specific customer was in my gallery and was looking for the newest images obviously :)

and that is the only way to get to those "lost" images...

if all of you guys' vectors were lost, we photographers would get some downloads once in a while !
