That's the beauty of small portfolios ... After 3 days I'm close to my BME for footage :D
@Rekindle
With your port size, a week without sales ... that is a surprise

Thanks nder,

I use RealFlow for the liquid stuff. I also like your portfolio especially the oceans simulations, very nice.

I guess i need to be more patient then and just keep on uploading. But to be honest i was expecting at least one sale by now.

I just looked up RealFlow and that looks like a really cool program. (and not to mention a really expensive one) I would love to try it out, might just have to try the demo and see how much of a learning curve is involved, thanks for introducing me to it (although I probably can not afford it for a while).

Yeah. If you're doing this kind of work day to day than it's pretty obvious you will buy a licence, but just buying RealFlow to play around with the settings and sell some stock footage? I don't think so :).

Blender has a decent liquid simulation engine and it's 100% free.

Hmmmm, I will have to try that too, see if I can get something good out of it :) Wonder if I can get something fairly good and then go into After Effects and make it what I want. You guys probably know better than I do.

17 vids is VERY small. Get more, and you'll sell more.

And at me every month the quantity of works grows, and sales fall. On other drains progress is visible. And on it falling. It is very a pity. It is necessary to reflect...

I'm with you I'm discouraged about SS, the last 10 days ZERO sales, every other places sells for me, just not here.

At me 12 days empty. Accident it to name difficult, as other banks sell as before.
Someone from a management can comment on the reasons?

I'm in a slump here, too.

After a strong start to the month, it fell off the cliff.

Luckily, as with other months with my sales, other agencies are taking up the slack.

Looks like back to a little below average so far, hoping for a strong finish.

So far this month is great for me, but I noticed something interesting, that is double sales. In the first day of June I had two sales of the same clip and yesterday, again two sales in one "shot" of a different clip. And it's not like I get 100 sales a month ... 4 out of 9 sales this month were "twins" :)
Statistically that is pretty significant if you get out of 250+ clips two downloads of the same clip in the same day (or even smaller time frame). Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket :D

nder, I had the same thing. I hope it wasn't a glitch in the SS billing system ;-).

Mine was of two baby goats, which is odd...

Yep ... let's hope it's not an error. Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut. :)
