I think you're absolutely right kk5hy. There comes a point where you have to draw a line and $3.70 for a full HD video is just a taking the piss. I think you did the right thing by deleting your potfolio and from what ive read quite a few others have done the same. If you dont stand up and take action for what you think is right then some of these stock agencies wont play fair.

To be honest I just got a $3,6 sale on a certain site for a subscription HD clip and I'm thinking about pulling all my stuff from that place as well :|

Never uploaded any of my stuff to them after they rejected my best seller on all sites, so glad I didn't waste time with them.

3.7 dollars for full HD is way too low, but if people allow their clips to be sold there it will eventually filter through to all the stock footage sites.

Only solution to me seems to be pull your clips from them, otherwise a few years down the line we will be getting .36 dollars per clip as all the agencies compete against each other

Me too, accept it was for 3.50 - It's going down.

Never thought i would see the day where a sale actually annoyies me.

Anyway, im done talking about this on SS.

Anyone getting any sales this month? At this rate it will be lowest in over a year.

Zero sales in August so far. Very unusual. I've ceased uploading new material to SS because of the ridiculous rejection patterns.

Other then one $8.00 refund, this month has been going well. Only one day so far that I haven't had at least one sale, usually multiple.

Knock on wood... I haven't had any rejections in about 3 months.

This month is turning out to be my best ever (here), in both number of sales and income.

It's a crap shoot, however. Next month I may be down again.

WOW you guys are giants in my mind with sales like that ;). So far I'm less than one third of normal month and the month is half over. It's always a crap shoot, things may change in the course of a single days sales. Fingers crossed ;) ... for all of us.

Yeah, but before you put me on a pedestal, bear in mind that my "best month" on SS barely comes close to my "worst month" at one other stock agency...

At least so far this month....

Pretty slow this month. Good thing is that other sites are doing better. ;)

This month looked pretty weak ... UNTIL today! 8 HD sales, best day ever and now back to normal month average. Scary getting almost half a months sale in one day .... now to make this happen everyday ;)

Pretty good month so far, mostly subscription stuff but also had a couple of refunds as usual.
