Half the sales and half the income from May '08. With a 40%ish larger portfolio. Hmmm.
Reading through the posts it seems the more senior contributors are feeling the hurt a little more than the newbies. Many have mentioned the demise of the 'upload bump'. Guess 'the times they are a'changin'. . . . |

Slow for DLs, but that is my fault since I just started submitting late in the month after months of nothing...sometimes life gets in the way.
HOWEVER, it was my BME for $$ and I am SMILING! |

May was my best month ever with shutterstock! (I just started, got 1 dl), and so far, June is even better (2 dls!) Yah! |

SS is still my #2 earning site, but percentage has slipped to 20% of my total. This is the lowest % ever.
Compared to May 2008:
images +30% (more than 1000 added)
earnings +9%
I still had a BME overall, but that was due to better sales on several other sites.
New images are lucky to see the light of day here on SS. This is very disheartening! |

Having only added 4 images in the last 8 months or so, my payouts have leveled off and been pretty constant over the past 4 or 5 months.
Suddenly, 1 June 2009 gives me 4 OD's and I have made 25% of my average already this month. Has the worm turned and therefore should I start uploading again? |
