The first decline in earnings since August 2008. Number of downloads was at the same level as in April, but only two ELs and much fewer downloads on demand. The average earnings per download dropped from $0.53 to $0.46.

My microstock earnings report for May in Pixels Away blog.

May was good, according to all that words Bme, Wbm, Dl, el, I can say that May was my BME, I am new here, I have few images, but in May I had my first LE and the number of Dl were almost the same of April.

But I feel this is not going better. I am surprise and worried that some photographers that are really good and sell much here in SS had big decreases here in SS and selling more in other pages.

Is the microstock getting down in SS? I hope not.

Really enjoyed May. A beautiful month, in general.

Average earnings over all sites, but a significant downward trend here for me on shutterstock -30%.

BME by three ELs and a few ODs to spare... so a fair amount higher than April.

Because I am able to slip back and forth through time I have noticed my $ for the month of June turned out to be exactly 30% less than May!
