I am brand new to this site and havn't uploaded any images yet. I am leaving for Venezuela tomorrow and want to know what is needed so I can concentrate more on productive photos to upload. This is a rare oportunity so I want to make the most of it. I assume that SS is loaded with Flowers and Sunsets. Also, if I can get model releases signed in Spanish will SS accept those as well. Thanks for the input |

With over 7 million images in their database Shutterstock is not really in want of that many things. Most of the categories are pretty well covered.
If you are going to be doing travel related images make sure they are done well. This means that they are properly exposed, properly composed and very sharply focused. I suggest searching the database for images that you are thinking of taking so you know what you will need to do.
Have a good trip and good luck. |

Except for my fabulous images. Of course it's more of a craving than a simple want. ;) |

You are so right Perry. But I think it is more of a burning desire for your images instead of a craving :) |

Thanks for the input. Passion, craving, call it what you want but I know it's in my blood. I never liked the idea of film cameras when I was younger but when I got a hold of my first 1.1 MP Kodak and Photoshop I was hooked..... Bad. It's like an addiction looking and working for that next shot that makes one say.... WOW! OMG!! Also, because one needs to pay atention to the details it has also given me a deepend appreciation and understanding for life, our world and everything and everyone in it. It never stops and I never get tired of hearing the compliments and seeing the smiles and joy on peoples faces from my work whether it's a tropical sunset in Latin America or great shots of important events for family and freinds That are proudly posted on the internet or framed in large format and hung in thier homes. When I get back I will begin to post my older photos as well as the new ones. Thanks Again. |
