I love it but I won't use it if it reveals my download numbers. How many images a contributor licensec a day is nobodys business but the contributor. Might as well just Tweet my bank statment.

Then just unclick the box that tweets the daily number

Cool, I had not signed up for it yet just saw it in the newsletter. If I can turn it off then I think this will be a useful tool.

Thanks Shutterstock

Can it be made to also add the number of video sales? In my tweet today, I see it only added the number of photos but not video.
Or can it be made to report video as a seperate thing?
Personally I would rather that as I don't shoot much still photographs anymore.

Thanks again, really like the attention to my portfolio.

Of course this feature is a great deal.
But it's also not bad if images accepted on Monday customers can found by keywords on Wednesday or (in the worst case) on Thursday, but not on next Saturday or Sunday :(
To my regret new service don't bring as much sales as normal indexation of new images. Due to the fact that customers can't find my new images by keywords or on categories page (by newest first) my sales have fallen by a half compared with last weeks. And no any sales of new images, that strange.
Interesting thing that customers from twitter will see this falling. I don't think that it's good advertisement for my portfolio :(
And if this will continue in the future I will have to abandon this service :(

we'll see

Plus, we added your referral ID to the Twitter urls so if someone makes a purchase after clicking the link, you’ll make a referral commission!...

Ideally you could connect our referral Id for buyers to the "xyz images uploaded tweet" and our photographer referral ID to "just sold xyz images". SY

It would be nice to be able to customize which tweets are sent...

It wasn't obvious before authorizing the connection, but now that I've done that, I see it is easy to choose which tweets are sent. Very cool, now I just need to upload something worthwhile to test it. :)

Twitterati, please enlighten me.

I know next to nothing about Twitter and until now, have had no reason to care. Would someone please explain how tweets about their portfolio might generate sales? Wouldn't you need to have, among your 'followers', people who regularly buy stock images?

What would be the point of just sending these announcements out into the interstellar vacuum of Twitter?
